I'm interested bit i have a couple questions, can i use a sparks2 with this? How does the saber open to show the reveal?spring?

as long as the spark fits in romans booster piece it will work. the chamber has a sliding rail that is done manualy but others have added a spring. there is a link in the first page to another thread of what others have done with the chamber.

unfortunately they will not change any of the design without raising the price. so everything will be the same.

Does this mean there won't be a solid spacer available for the non-fx saber owners? Still didn't found a good way to attach the Graflex clamp to the hollow spacer on such a way that the chamber can easily be opened and closed... The clamp now just "hangs" around the spacer, because there is no possibility to screw it fixed with the transistors...

I'm trying to figure out an attachment but for now the clamp will just have to be tighten more to grasp the hallow chamber.

I have an idea just need to find a 3d artist that will help.

Sounds good. Still interested in a better way to attach the clamp. Tightening the clamp indeed keeps it in space, but then it's difficult to open or close the chamber without opening the clamp. Also no possibility to attach the transistors, unless sawing off the threading, and glue them to the Graflex clamp. Don't want to do that to either my clamp or transistors...

If you talk about a 3D artist, I guess you're thinking about making a 3D part available on shapeways or something, that fits inside the hollow chamber and where the trasistors can screw into? .

Yea that way if people want they can order it off shapeways, but the intended design was having to open the the clamp to twist and open the saber. I have a different updated hallow sapcer that im going to ask the shop if they dont mind doing but they originally said price increase.

I would not mind opening the lever to open the chamber, but when you open the clamp, it isn't fixed to the spacer anymore and will "hang loose" around the spacer and will turn out of place, etc... Anyway, looking forward to see a solution for this...
