Normally, when unscrewing this set screw, it should be possible to remove the hollow spacer, and replace it by a solid one, I guess?

I thried it on mine, but the hollow spacer fits really thight on the rest of the chamber. Didn'ty wat to put too much force on it right now, but if Spirit of orb would consider doing a run of such solid parts to fix the clamp too, I'd defenitely want one. Didn't find a good solution to fixate the clamp until now, and also don't want to cut of the thread part of the trasistors to glue them on...

I love this idea! I have a kit from the first run and would certainly pick up a solid spacer if it becomes available. Removing the hollow spacer didn't take too much effort. I was worried about damaging it because it was so tight, but it came off without a problem. I removed mine when I had to send it back to be rethreaded.

How did you remove that hollow spacer, If I can ask. At mine it's stuck. Didn't apply to much force already, though. But with bare hands it won't be possible. I'm thinking about putting a wooden (or metal) cylinder through the hollow spacer, put something on the rims of the spacer, and hammer it off gently...

Anyway, won't do this if Spirit of ob1 won't be offering these solid spacers, off course... A small detail I forgot to mention: if screw holes are put on both sides of the solid spacer, people can choose which way of the chamber to display, even when the solid spacer if fixed to the chamber...
Spirit of ob1: do you already know if such a solid spacer could happen in the future? Or won't you consider it at all? Just to know if I need to keep an eye on this thread or not... ;)

I just applied a good amount of force while twisting each section in opposite directions. Mind you, it did put up a good fight! It also required the same amount of effort to get it back on. But at the end of the day, I was able to align it back up exactly as it had been without damaging it whatsoever. I'm keeping my fingers crossed Spirit will do the solid spacer with tapped holes for the transistors...

Any update on this? Clamps should be in soon and this saber is way too nice for me to try and make a chamber myself :)

Really would like to know if a solid spacer will be happening? My saber and chamber are in parts on my desk now, waiting for such a solid spacer to put things together again. Even have managed to get a nice blue acrylic "crystal" to replace the clear one...

Hey guys sorry been away for an emergency, but I'm back hm now.. Previously I was waiting on the shop to make sure they are ready to start before I take payments to pay them. ill find out more info this week ! :) I'm not sure on the solid spacer just yet. I asked if they could leave a few solids but ive been gone for a few weeks. ill have answers this week for everything.
