Great writing, acting, drama...all the way around. I was just telling my bud Andrew the other day that I've been watching 24 mostly out of habit the last few years, and while we both agreed the show is still better entertainment than most of what television has to offer, neither of us lamented the recent announcement of the series' cancellation, figuring it was due.

But I'll tell ya, after what I saw tonight, the show's still got it. I'm really gonna miss it, after all.

I'm right there with ya Wook. Good solid episode, the kind that made the show great originally. Next week is gonna be another dream episode I think. Jack eluding capture by Chloe is gonna be epic!!!! :)

Parts of it strained the concept big time.

Jack goes from being devastated in the hospital, to the courthouse to talk to the russian guy, back to ctu to beat the snot out of Dana in roughly 35 minutes....

Loved it too! This show has still got it. I've watched every season and just really enjoy the heck out of it still. And last night (and the week before to some degree) really rocked. Having Logan back on the scene really adds a lot to the show. He's such a slime ball. And come on Chloe, did you really not think Jack was going to grab that chopper? ;)

P.S. Did you notice that the President never really got Jack to "give his word" he would stand down on all this? I'm wondering if she kind of wants him to not back down.

Him not backing down would screw her administration, though. They could do the politico spin, but him outing the russians were behind it all would mess up the process most likely and likely out she and Logan knew it. So I don't think she wants him to out it at all.

It's one of those 'tough decisions' leaders have to make....blow off the fact the russians tried to nuke manhattan to mess up the peace process and try to bring peace to the middle east, or out the ruskies and screw the peace.

I think this season has finally gone back to what made it good. the last two seasons were not edge of your seat, can't wait till next episode material. This season is a nice return to that, too bad it's the last.

Nah, I'm sure Jack will save the day as usual and the President will be thankful and apologize to Jack.

I think Jack's character is that something is either right or wrong there's no gray. I think when the President told him to stand down he lost any respect he had for her before that.

I was surprised at the ending though because I was guessing he was going to break Dana out and take her with him. I think Cole will end up helping him though.
