18” 3D Printed Jupiter 2

This is a work in progress. I started by testing a 6” version, then this scaled up 18” model. The ultimate goal is to print a four foot Jupiter 2.

Is this you own 3D design or are you working off of someone else's STL's? I'm not really passionate about the Jupiter 2, but I always love looking at projects that involve 3D printed pieces. I know people built these out of styrene and PVC in the past, but I find that making a kit of something that doesn't involve resin, really interesting.

Nice! What printer are you using?

I'll need to remember this page for those landing legs when the time comes to make my Planet of the Apes Liberty Lander since the studio set used the Jupiter 2's legs as part of the wreckage on screen.
 
I'm a bit late to this party, but can you link me to the creator's FB page so I can get the files? My hubby is a HUGE Lost in Space fan and this would be an awesome gift for him. :love:
