Here is something I made for my daughter about 17 years ago.
It was made using a Plasticine buildup over a plaster cast of her face. The back of the head was made over an inflated balloon
attached with tape to the face sculpt then I painted Molding Rubber (liquid latex) from a local hobby shop.
This was done in several coats with tissue used to reinforce the rubber.
To make the dreads I had a set of deer antlers that had really long tines on it.I wrapped tissue on the tine and then slopped the molding rubber on it.
After the rubber dried I stuffed them with cotton loosely and then one by one used latex to stick them to the mask.
Permanent marker made them black.
This was all then painted with an airbrush and acrylic paint.
Compared to the materials now and my ability to buy them (penniless back then) I want to try again.
There was armor made from heavy cardboard and covered with black Rhinohide tm. It is long gone though.
There was never any teeth in it as I was afraid she might fall and get one in the eye! There are areas made for them though.
Just thought I'd share my first attempt.
