So I have a special project I want to modify a rc Boyd Coddington car and apparently a 1/8 plastic/metal engine is hard to find in this scale. Only so thing so far is European engines, everything else is 1/6 scale or bigger. Anybody know of a place that sells something like this? Otherwise Im going to have to buy a classic 1/8 model car and use the engine from that.

American V8's are hard to find? Seriously?
Ever herd of Monogram or Revell or Lindberg :unsure

Ever heard of not being a A-hole?? If you know those companies you
would know they make 1/6 and 1/4 not 1/8 unless I buy a complete model car as I said. Posting without knowing something that makes you look like a fool. How about a reply that's courteous next time... :unsure :facepalm

BTW it's heard not herd...:rolleyes

I did come off as snarky. Apologies.

Yes. You most likely will have to buy a complete car kit. I should have made that clear.
I'v gotten 1/8 car kits partial built off EBay for very little. Keep an eye out for those deals.

herd... I deserved that:facepalm for the snarkiness

Its all good, forgive and forget :). I guess 1/8 is a odd number for that. There's some real
nice 1/6 scale motors that are very detailed too, bummer. I have a few possibles waiting on one eBay seller now. Other wise ill have to get a 1/8 parts car. :)

There's a 1/8 Corvette on ebay. I just sent you a PM with a link since we can't post them here.
