Well the base is now complete. I have a lot of finishing work to do before pai ti g begins and then I need to put in a big, big order on Shapeways from Agoe of Plastics store

Well I started on a small underground area that will be below the Sandcrawler... A kind of hovel or lair for the Jawa's. I still need to add a bunch of detail but here's where I'm at with that:

It certainly has, mate! Here's the stand-in Falcon for reference...

I did some more detail work on the Jawa lair:

I still need to add more 'junk' and some ladders for the different levels... And some diffusers for the lights (probably just something to angle the lights downward so they aren't shinning directly in your eyes.

Started adding buildings and other things to the outside upper portion of the diorama. The pic below is of the entrance that Luke, Ben, C3P0, and R2-D2 will be going through to get down to the Falcon.

Yeah... this whole thing is going to be packed with scenes within the scene within other scenes... So much fun!

You keep ‘ upping ‘ the game as far as your detailing with dioramas go Kris (... excellently , I might add ) they’re serving both as an inspiration... but , & I don’t mind admitting it ( to myself mostly ) an unenviable ‘ bar ‘ that’s getting bloody ‘ up there !’

Thanks, Ged! You are too kind! I just feel I needed to up my game on this one. There's so much out there that is truly inspiring. So I'm trying my best to match that enthusiasm...lol... What's really fun is creating this whole thing from scratch.
