Sometime back, about a year ago actually, I started work on a custom 1:6th stormtrooper or two. Now, these don't compare to Sideshow's troopers or medicoms and they aren't marmits either but they work for my purposes.
The first was easy, I used a body I had and while I modified the Hasbro armor to fit him, the Hasbro bodysuit was fine. For his helmet, I used a hollowed out McDonalds happy meal bobble-head.
The second one, I bought a thin body on ebay for about $5.00 shipped and bought a vinyl kit which I would paint white and cut apart for the armor.
I needed a bodysuit but put it off and finally decided upon a pattern to make my own. I finished him up the other day, well.. more or less. He has some minor details yet to hammer out but otherwise, he's finished.
here they are back when "skinny" was still in progress
and "skinny" now that he's done
