1/5 Horizon Terminator T-800 endoskeleton build

Hey folks. I've got one of the vinyl T-800 endoskeletons from the 90s winging its way to me. I reckon I'm going to follow the example of some of the builds on the web and cut away the voids then replace the hydraulics with metal rod and styrene tube over the top, using fine Milliput to bulk out the parts where needed.

And I reckon it's mandatory to make the eyes glow.

Has anyone got any experience with this model and do you have any tips for maintaining its structural integrity with all those mods to such a skinny-legged thing?

Well, ordered some resin skulls for the base. That should be a fun project in its own right.

The more I plan this, the more I think he'll need a plasma rifle so I might scratch-build that. Has anyone got any decent blueprints with measurements for one of those?
