1/4105 TOS Battlestar Pegasus

Hello Guys

Just about done with my TOS Pegasus from Mobeius. Nicely detailed kit might I add. Only critique is the bridge and the area in front of it. I know there are 3D printed upgrade parts but decided to use styrene instead (at least for the time being). On the background the revisited Galactica, next on my list of course. Well hope you all like it. l

I think it looks great. Always loved the original design and this model looks really cool. Is the new Galactica in the background that close and that much smaller than the original? lol

Anyways, great job. Though I think it would benefit from a little wash to bring out all the details, just my 2 cents.

I agree this is a great kit. and your build looks very nice. I too made mine into the Pegasus . I washed with a dark gray to pick out the detailing a bit more. light wash but definitely noticeable. with this scale subtle is what is needed or your eye "notices", and the illusion is broken.

BTW - The fit on this model is so good you "almost" don't need glue.

Thanks guys for the kind words. The wash and grey panel lines are darker than the photo shows. I definitively need to buy a better camera instead on relying on my iphone. On another topic any suggestions for the revisited Galactica base coat I really want it to be the dark sheep of the family lol. For reference I wanted it to look more or less like Marko's (Rock Voice) build on Youtube. I am also buying the revisited Pegasus to have all three colonial capital ships.
