1/2500 Galactica Mining Ship

Looks like you've definately got it under control.:thumbsup Where did you get the pattern from?

More progress. I'd noticed something didn't look quite right about the forward section of the engine cluster. I enlarged the image I'm working from and found out I'd mis-interpreted a detail.

Enjoy. Comment. Good or Bad.

Good catch with your correction. I probably wouldn't notice it if I were making it.:thumbsup What is the white material you're using? Is it a plastic? I see it's probably easy to score and cut with you're precision lines and details. And how are you tacking them together?

Thanks! :D

I'm using a combination of Evergreen and Plastruct strip and sheet styrene. Basic tools are a good 6 Inch metal ruler, X-Acto, .5mm Mechanical Pencil, NWSL Chopper and plain old unadulterated generic Super Glue (Pack of 6 for 3 bucks at Walgreens).

Most complicated tool is the internet, forums, and my trusty Mark I Eyeball.

Little more work on this one.

Thank you, I've been waiting to see more progress on this. It's looking great!:thumbsup The detailing on the bottom is incredible!! Are you using some sort of magnifying technique to see close-up?

Thank you. The magnifier is my good old Mark I Eyeball. I'm very near-sighted and I think that helps.

wow, looking good so far. Excellent detail for that scale, I like it.

Thank you. While I'm not quite finished with it, I will be bringing it to WonderFest to show off.
