I always compared the a-wing to something the size of the 60's bat boat or a small racing boat. This seems bigger for some reason.

Pilot in the A-Wing model always looked huge to me. Having said that, Alfred Wong does tend to take liberties with his models but in this case his cockpit does seem to look better to me.
