Guns are glued in thier pods:

I put the detail on the top of the Cowl hatch. Tomorrow I'll turn the ship over and do the other side. (That didn't sound right)

My hope is to get these prepped and moved into the other garage for painting by Sunday night.

Looking forward to see this painted. Are there different B-wing versions to pic from? I only know of the orange dot version.

When you finish this I suspect you will have one of the most accurate looking B wings ever built. The paint work will be demmanding though!! I'm a huge fan of extra detailing and you have really done a cracking job on this ship. Those gun pods are simply brilliant.

Thanks guys. As far as I know there are two versions out there and I plan on doing both. I just hope my painting is up to par.

Installed the secondary guns on the wings.

Then I test fit what I will hopefully be painting soon.

I'm thinking one more wet sand and I can start painting this section of the ship. I'm still working on some of the stuff for the cockpit, including the pilot.

I remember the B-Wing was one of my first builds as a child...... still to this day one of my favorite ships...

Ooh. I hate and love painting at the same time. White base-coat!

From these pics, it hardly looks like there is paint on these parts at all. Well, there is. We lent out our good camera out so these shots are the best that I can take this week.

I've done quite a bit of the landmark work and I'm hoping to move on to the weathering/blending painting very soon. I will finish assembling this ship as I go.

I'm thinking of starting the other ship tomorrow. That way I can do the weathering together...thoughts? I'm up in the air about it. It would be nice to finish these together.

And she's done! Here is my interpretation of the b-wing. If I found something was damaged or broke during the final buildup I just kept it that way. This is a rebel ship anyway, right?

Now that turned out fantastic! The B-wing is my favorite Star Wars vehicle, so I thoroughly enjoyed looking at the progression. :thumbsup
