The lack of updates doesn't mean that I haven't been working on this. I put a bunch of the ship together and I will take pics in the next few days, but here are pics of the cockpit.

As you can see, I've already drilled the holes for fiber optics. I can't wait to light this up.

Very nice cockpit, can´t wait to see it lit up! I´m also currently messing with the cockpit, wish I could have lit it as well but the engine lighting is giving me headaches, wouldn´t even dare to mess around with FO! :lol

That is looking great. Maybe its the photo or is the chair a bit far to the right?

The chair is a bit off. I'm going to wait until I'm ready with the pilot and see if it will be noticable before I go and move it.

I have a lot of progress on this build but I need to take more pics. I have a bunch of builds going on at once and it is getting a bit hectic around here. I also have family here for the next week and a half so I cannot pull kits because my shop shares a wall with the guest room (robert is pulling some molds for the b right now to help me out) so all I can do is build.

Here are a few teaser shots until later this week.

Also, I have fiber optics in half of the cockpit right now. I cannot wait to finish it.

Cockpit with all the fiber optics. I'll be damned a lever fell off while I was putting in the fiberoptics. I will find it when I clean my mess of a workstation and glue it back on. Anyhow:

First I made the parts to fit on top of the cowels.

Then I ran LED's for the engines, soldered them together with the headlights, and tested all of them on a 9V battery supply.

Somehow during this build, I managed to order two different Red LEDs. :confused Luckily I ordered more than I needed for ONE ship!

I will post the packaging and the website where the red LEDs came from tomorrow. I took pics of my builds tonight, but for some reason the LEDs escaped me. Sorry.

When I started scribing everything else, I pretty much committed myself to scribing the wings. Here's my first shot at rescribing them:

I still have to fill in the scribes that I messed up, rescribe those parts, flip them over and do the same.

I also had to rebuild a few of my lower guns due to me knocking them of while walking past them. I've learned to put things away properly now. LOL

I mounted the wings today and my camera and the model decided to work together to work against me. Therefore, these are the best shots that I have.

Well, here is a reason why this build is taking longer than I wanted it to. I have to do everything twice.

Except I closed up the detail part on the back of the main wing on the second build.

Well, more than a few of my parts went into the kits that are just going out so I'm a bit farther behind on this build than I was a week ago. Oh well, at least people are getting their kits.

Any who hah, I finished a few parts for these kits.

I need to pull all new guns to marry to these to (those are the parts that went into the kits).

I think I posted at least one of these parts before, but after wet sanding them, they needed more work. Now they are done!
