1:1 OOD Head DR WHO related

Cheers :)

The Ree Yees head is a nice design but I'm seriously thinking about moving over to life sized human heads soon... I've had plenty of experience doing miniature scale human likenesses, like the Reeve Superman project, but never really tackled a fullsized bust. The problem there is I don't want to tread on the toes of those talented guys who have made a name for themselves in that field..... so I hope to do something no one else has approached yet or is planning to approach. Watch this space ;)

You're putting the "Ooo." in Ood there Cyberman, no doubt about it.

Very very g-ood work indeed :)

**Edit

p.s You ever thought about sculpting a Ree-Yees head? (if you haven't thought of it, would you?? I'd love one of those).

I wouldn't worry about treading on anyones toes. If you feel you can raise the bar higher then BRING IT ON.

Everyone else will simply have to raise their game if you succeed.

Molding is well underway now. Its going to be a 2 part Cystical R mold, designed for latex masks

Looks great. Can you actually see out of those pin holes or is visibility not an issue for this event?

wow cyb,

im not a fan of the Dr so i dont know anything about this character but that masks looks amazing.

What?.? Are you kidding? That's an amazing scuplt in one day (the first pics)

Yep sure hope to.... ;)

Hey Cyberman

Been watching this thread for a while but not able to post until I just got my authorisation.

Just wanted to say that's a great sculpt and finsihing work. If I had to make any kind of criticism it would be that the paint job looks a little darker than the originals but it may just be the photos. Otherwise, top job.

Best

Hi Neill

That is the best compliment I can ever have..... Did you sculpt the original head, by the way? I'm making a few more for this event in Cardiff and they will be pailer - I think I got carried away with the dark wash LOL The Isopropyl didn't remove as much paint as I'd have liked.

Anyway, glad you like it - you've really made my day. :eek

Cheers

Phil
