Any chance of getting a pdf of the manual? LEGO has a page you can order each brick individually. If I could get the manual I'd set up a package with all the bricks needed.

At the moment, my friend who designed it doesn't want to release the plans. He wants to display it at a few more Lego conventions.

Just an FYI, he told me not all the peices will be available directly from Lego due to their rarity, some have come from discontinued sets. The pieces for the blaster add up to about $125, but you'd expect to have to pay more than that because it's unlikely you could get some of them individually. This wasn't as much of a problem for him as he's always buying Lego.

Some single bricks sell for more than the set that they were released with.
