1:1 Jack Sparrow (Depp) Bust... Teaser!!

Hi Everyone.

I just got permission to show a few teasers of another piece that I'm currently working on, it's a 1:1 Jack Sparrow Bust for a Disney license holder. Still a little more to clean-up but I was real anxious to show this one off

Wow. The facial features and the eyes are stunning. Only thing is that your beard/mustache/soulpatch makes him look better as compared to his ratty facial hair... I'm about as sucessful as he is at growing a good beard. :unsure

Thanks everyone. The nice comments really mean a lot... I always wonder how something will go over while I'm working on it and I actually had to keep this under wraps for a long long time... so many approval procedures, etc... I started this long before the 2nd movie was even out and had to wait to show him. Now that I get to finish him I'm very excited moving forward.

The only thing i don't like is that I won't get to paint one.. I guess I'll just have to buy a finished one.. Man Howard, I've been going back and looking at this bust all night, This is easily my favorite sculpt that you have ever done.

Probably because isn't painted yet or because his expression is too "serious", or maybe because isn't finished yet, but this amazing sculpt doesn't look like Jack Sparrow... (OMG what I'm saying. :eek )
Well, it LOOKS like Jack, but not like your life-like standards...
I don't know exactly what is wrong with him (probably my eyes ) but there is something...

Looks very nice Howard. The only thing that sticks out for me is the top of the chest needs a bit of concaving. It looks pushed out,buldgy.
Other than that i like it.
