That's a great shot! Yeah, those shoes are technically dress shoes I found for $60! I bought them brand new and hence they are quite "shiny"!
These shoes are a size 10.5, and I wear a 13, so I cannot wear them in (wear them out?) myself. So sand paper and dull-coat it shall be!

The waist band of the pants will go between lines B and C. That should result in the legs appearing the proper length, and reduce the excess pant at the cuffs.
With the waist band becoming a fixed reference point, then I'll need to assess how low the jacket hangs.
I cannot have the jacket shortened, as that would entail relocating the pockets, leaving scars. So with the waist set at B/C, if the jacket hangs too low, I may need to consider increasing the torso length.
Estimates of Ford's height are 6' to 6'1". Currently the figure stands at 6' even. So I may be able to increase the cavity between lines A and B, by 0.5" to 1.0", thus raising the jacket.

You know, a lot of folks have had success shrinking a wested with the water (and/or) tumble dryer method.
If you run a search over on COW you'll find lots of threads about that.
I've done it myself with a couple of jackets in the past - put the jacket in the tumbler on a LOW heat along with a wet towel - or wet the jacket beforehand. Just proceed with caution and a little at a time!
Another way is to soaken the jacket and let it dry naturally on the mannequin - it should end up being a little more form fitting.

All right - evaluation time...
More padding tonight. Padded the pelvic area, the torso, and the shoulders.
Thoughts?
I almost like the shoulders better without padding...

Agreed. I was just thinking that tonight. I'll need to remove the figure from the base at least once more, and will likely reduce the thigh padding a bit at that time.

Looking good. I agree, I don't like the padding in the shoulders, but you'll need something there to keep the shoulder shape. In the pic where the figure is half padded, the shoulder is draping over the chest.
Not sure what I could recommend, but you see what I'm talking about.
Still plenty of time to get to those little details.

Yeah... I really think I need to RE-think the shoulder padding. You know - when I ggrasp my own shoulder, there's not much meat there, and I'm carrying about the same build Ford did (adjusted for height). My own shoulder dowsn't feel any larger than the 3" diameter pipe I used for the shoulders.
I think if I backed off on the shoulder padding (currently it is three layers of 1/4" thick quilt batting) down to just a single layer (just to smooth things out), then built up the outside portion of the pecs (where the pecs meet the delts and transist into the armpits) it'll look a lot better.

Just kidding. I think you're right though. If anything just add a tiny amount of padding where the deltoid muscles would lie. That would only be about 1/2 inch to 1 inch of padding.
