    Cool piece.

Is it a screen used one or just a display piece? Doesn't resemble the hero paint job...

A couple of months ago I went to a sellers house here in Australia to look at some Star wars goodies. He had one of these HUGE ID4 Exosuits inside his house!!!

These things look amazing and did I mention HUUUUUUGE!!
Wish he would sell this sucker.

"Wow" I'm so jealous. I thought the film was good in parts, the Alien exosuit was he best bit in it! I would love to own one of those guys but I ain't got that sort of cash even if one appeared out of thin air, so I'm giving replicating a full size one a go to see if I can manage it. I look forward to seeing the refurb progress reports on that bad boy. I'm hooked = Subscribed

That paint job actually matches one of the action figure ones. There were several color schemes for the toys so maybe they did several color schemes on the ones in the movie? I think I'd rather have one of these in my house on display than a terminator actually.

There's one of these on display in a local Fry's electronics store here in LA (well, it was there a year or so ago, I assume it's still there...) Always wondered if it was screen-used, but with comments about promotional life-sized ones being made, that's probably what it is...

(The decor of the store is a UFO crashed into the front of it with various aliens hanging all around pointing ray guns at the shoppers... :) )

One of my favorite sci-fi movies, though I was never a fan of how the aliens looked - but then again, kudos for them choosing a unique design.
What an awesome project to work on though - I'm sure you will do it justice!!

very cool, i had a chance pick this up for very good price, but i pass and choose the lifesize Alien Queen. i believe this is made by distortions, not many produce.

    Welcome to Earf!

But yeah, one of the most awesome ideas/concepts ive seen. From an "alien technology" point of view it made sense that they would move around in these heavy-duty (possibly lab grown) suits, hiding their true, fragile bodies inside.
