I sculpted this to retrofit on an existing MR helmet without having to modify the existing helmet.I made it like the hasbro figure and the GG AT-TE add on seen in the pics. Its one piece fiberglass with roto resin interior and pops on in one piece.

Ok here are a couple still pics I took before the batteries crapped out on the camera.Which BTW I finally got to work again after it got put in lock out mode..that was fun trying to figure out lol.

I will take some more soon without background clutter but here is a few for now.It ona a original MR Utapau 212th batallion helmet. In these pics its not weathered yet. I plan to clear coat with a semi or matte and mildly weather it like the GG bust version.

Brilliant. I love it. That is a fine execution of the subject material.

Is that just brown paint? It looks as though it is textured.

Oh man, I remember coming across your youtube vid of this awhile back. Looks outstanding!

I have a question..you say you didnt have to modify the existing MR helmet, so does that mean that the one piece add on, just slips right onto the helmet? or did you permanantly attach it?

Right I made it so it retro fits on a helmet without having to mod the helmet..no dremeling off ear pieces etc. etc.it locks into place on its own no magnets snaps etc.I can hold it upside and shake it and it wont fall off.
And with the smooth roto interior I have taken it on and off several times without scratching the paint on the helmet.I may take some soft side of velcro and strategically glue in certain places to prevent possible paint scuffing.
I thought it would be cool if you could have add on so if you wanted to have a plain helmet you could but then if you wanted to do the AT you could pop it on and you have a totally different character without having to buy another whole helmet.

Thanks .No its a water based acrylic that I applied then once dry I sanded it with a 220 grit which gave it that dull chalky textured look.I am going to seal it with a matte sealer and apply a little weathering.
I appreciate your compliments as I have always admired your work as well.-Jason
