I believe the glove in question with the single thumb pad (as opposed to Poe's 2 piece thumb padding) is a Arnold Engineering Plastics Ltd M300 Gauntlet Glove. http://www.arnold-ppe.com/M300.asp

need help with x wing pilot costume

The Jumpsuits in Episode 5 The Empire Strikes back are the same ones used in IV and VI. They were commercial orange jumpsuits from the 1970s with pockets added.

    My custom Han Solo blaster

I think you did great. These Rubies blasters are cheap and fun to paint. I have done 2. On a future build you could putty and sand the screw holes (other than for the battery door). Dry brush the wood grip with a lighter brown paintto bring out the texture pf the ribbing on the grips. Sand off...

8 year old First Order Stormtrooper made from 4ft doll

The 4 ft dolls are $99 there is also a Vader doll in this size. Could serve as the basis for master forms for child scale armor. With some knee pieces, a helmet and some better shoes I think this could be a really great costume.

Starkiller Flight Suit Costume, need some help planning

To expand on Mikers next logical step: find patterns of similar garments and use them as your base. Ebay is a great resource for out of print and cheap patterns.I'd use a black jumpsuit as a base and modify it. The jumpsuit doesn't have to function like the one in your reference photos (i.e. the...

My Re-Carded Star Wars The Force Awakens Figures - Vintage Retro Style!

Re: My Re-Carded Star Wars The Force Awakens Figures - Retro Style! Really nice work very professional. I would change the Kenner logo to the appropriate Hasbro logo for 1978. :) http://logos.wikia.com/wiki/Hasbro

The 5 Day Solo project: ANH Han for 10/25 party

I'd pickup a Rubies Han Solo toy blaster for $12 and spray paint it. It can literally be done in 15 mins if you don't count drying time.

$20 and 3 days (Halloween Han holster)

I think you did a nice job weathering. If I might be so bold, having just finished painting one of these blasters myself the grips should be brown all the way to the bottom and the top. Just like the grips on a real broomhandle Mauser. :)
