Ronson "Chips" Lighter (1936)
This lighter has been so difficult to find, I never thought I'd find one. Fortunately, the seller had no idea what he had as the name is unmarked (apparently a nickname) and all the paint was off of it. It still cost me over $100 as I think at least one other...
Ronson Duchess Table Lighter (1934)
This table lighter was smaller than it looked, but in pretty good shape. It wasn't so easy to locate. It's made of Dureum (not an easy word to locate either) and seems to be some kind of "super hard" alloy, possibly of brass.

I looked for a balance of quality versus price as the thing spends most of its time on a shelf closed. It might not be "aged" quite as well as some, but all the pages are there (some get a blank one for that type of display if it's not going to be opened).
The real prop had pages repeated...
I suppose a switch would do or an outlet on/off switch. I have it set up in the front of my home theater off to the left side on a bookshelf, kind of like a diorama. But I don't necessarily want it on while a movie is playing (music is fine)
I've actually got a theater room full of lit props I...
Or if I could find a 2032 powered remote candle of similar size, I could use that one. I thought I found one (Amazon's search is useless as it refuses to only return the results you actually ask for so I have to use an outside search engine), but it says it's now 'upgraded' to use 2450 (lasts...
I see at least one candle with 2032 batteries (strike that; it says "now upgraded to 2450 as if that helps.... sigh). I guess I just need to find a matching candle/battery combination.
I'd love to be able to use the IJ display more often, but with the remote, they don't last long as they use...
I wonder why the search didn't turn it up. Anyway, thanks, but from what I'm reading I could still have an issue as the 2450 battery is a different size than 2032 (24mm wide and 5mm thick compared to 20mm and 3.2mm). The blank might work or it might not quite reach the terminals. I'm a bit...
Sadly, I can't find that model even on the site he listed, but I do see some newer AA/AAA style votive candles that I might be able to use instead that do have easier to find battery eliminators. I just have to make sure they fit the stones. I just don't think they make 1.5"x 2" AAA battery...
I've been looking for a battery eliminator for 2450 coin batteries with zero luck. I'm looking at Country Christmas Loft's website and I don't even see the 2032 model. My searches turn up zero results at Amazon as well. All I can find are AA/AAA replacements. I suppose if I could find a AA...
Yes OK, I use something just like that for my Disney Crystal Skull so it can run on outlet based power. The problem is my LED candles that insert into my stones run off coin batteries, not AA or AAA. I never could locate a battery replacement for them.
It might be difficult to set up so many...
What LEDs did you use? Do you have a link? I'm getting tired of replacing batteries too, although I'm also using a lot of flickering candles to light my entire bookshelf scene and they all run on batteries too (remote controlled candles). In fact, the lighting source in the stones are the same...
Of course, just because some book says a lighter is worth x amount of dollars doesn't mean you can get that much. It still comes down to supply/demand. The book estimates are just guesses bases on past sales, but most are 15-30 years out of date and many that are listed as rare turned out to not...
