FotoKem in Burbank still offers processing and printing of 65/70mm neg and prints. Give them a call and ask them. As swgeek just mentioned, in the old photo-chemical days these things used to be everywhere! I've kept a few 2" 35mm and 65mm cores, just for the nostalgia. Oh gawd I miss the smell...

Don't light the fluid! Use the torch (or a heat gun) to soften the monster clay. With a little care you can melt a very thin layer and it will self-smooth. Hard to control that. Myristate is so messy and leaves monster clay soft for a long time. The lighter fluid is a great solvent and won't...

Very nice work, Captain. Am starting this same project. What advice can you offer for dis-assembly of the fuselage/ball? It appears to have been factory glued together (in addition to the 4 small screws in the "arms"). Just a matter of forcing/breaking the glued joints?
