Actually, the suggestion to revisit the kit, since it has a piece for the Sandcrawler, came from John C. I informed Craig of it and sent him a copy of the instructrions.

It's great to see some new blood and enthusiasm in regards to the part ID's, keep it up. You're experiencing a hiccup in discovering the yoke because certain kits, including the kit for this piece, were remastered.

I've been working on the Standard TIE and TIE Advanced for about 13 years and this is one of the few remaining pieces I still haven't found. From the reference I have and by interpolating this piece with known kit parts on the bottom, the piece measures out to be about 16mm in length.
