So just out of curiosity, do we have any idea what ever happened to the screen-used Greedo Killer prop after the post-production images of Harrison Ford with it were taken? Given the state of the prop at that time I have to assume that the entire thing was disassembled and then hastily rebuilt...

Touched up the scope a bit, really happy with the results :)

Post production (still need the small knob): Unfortunately the scope rings were full on stuck to the scope, and even my most careful efforts of removing them pulled off a few flecks of paint from the tube, which was super annoying. Might see if I can touch them up with some paint :confused...

Beautiful blaster! If I wasn't already making my own GK then I'd definitely have been interested. Hope someone goes for this awesome build soon!

No worries! And I actually have a spare safety from one of the plastic MGCs that I had years ago. Thankfully it's all steel just like on the MGC, so it's a perfect addition.Might also swap out the grips for a spare plastic set I have too ;)

In other news, MGC number 4 is welcomed to the family! It's missing the safety and also has some really weird wood grips (factory MCG?), but for the condition the price I paid for it was good :)

Here's my steel FM C96 replica, mostly finished. The weathering is a constant work in progress, and I need to take some better pictures. Eventually replaced the walnut grips with authentic antique ones. Magnifying lenses in the replica scope.

Thanks! Also just out of curiosity, does anyone know where to get the football style scope rings seen in the Chronicles photos? I haven't been able to find any concrete info on them, but feel that I should at least pick up a pair so that I can also easily swap the rings out to make that version...

As near as I can tell the mounting holes in the crossbar itself seem like they're slightly off-parallel, so I don't think I can cheat it without modifying the recessed hole in the mount face. Not the biggest problem, but I just think it's a small setup hiccup. The rest of the mount is of...
