Kurtyboy's new Vader Reveal project. 15 June - eye lenses and shutters

Wow Marcus! Had to log in to see what all the fuss is about ;P I think you’ve just motivated everyone who’s ever had a reveal kit to finish theirs- absolutely incredible job.

Score of my lifetime. SL ANH Vader face mask.

Thanks for all the shout outs everyone. I am making kit versions available (not advertising here but since it was mentioned) As a one man show I mold, cast, trim, prep, paint, pack and ship so if you don't mind a little work the kits are cheaper and easier for me if you want something right...

    ESB YODA lifesize prop

Hey all, looks like its Yoda season out there. Still had to get by and share my latest creation based off of my sculpts for the puppet version I'm assembling. He has all the goodies- glass eyes, poseable arms, hands, ears and feet. His head turns and can be positioned tilted up, straight or down...

    ESB Yoda 1:1 puppet project

I always try to offer something to help cover the cost of a project if enough interest is there. :) Here's a little progress, due to a health issue I had I cannot use my right arm at the moment preventing me from showing the full range of motion but you get the idea. Still some obvious...

    ESB Yoda 1:1 puppet project

Thanks for the comments everyone. :) The design is for at least two people but in fairness I'm no puppeteer, there are probably some amazing individuals out there that could really surprise us. If you took turns between expression and arms it could be done. :) Im working on getting the eye...

    ESB Yoda 1:1 puppet project

Thank you for the feedback, I did make some small changes before molding which I think helped. Ive also made quite a bit of progress, I have the body and cane done as well as all the mechanisms though they are not completely fitted yet which is why the ears are sitting a little flat (neutral)...

I'm pretty confident with the dimensions. :) this is just a quick comp I did on my phone, lighting and angles aside I think it illustrates it well.

    ESB Yoda 1:1 puppet project

Re: ESB Yoda Thanks it's a mix of placticine I did to help visualize as I go, both sets of pics are clay stage and I'll have an update soon, I haven't posted in a while and asked the mods to move this to the Star Wars section.

    ESB Yoda 1:1 puppet project

Hi everyone, just wanted to share a quick shot of my latest creation. A 1:1 scale Yoda which has been somethingbive wanted to do for s long time never capturing what I saw in the films from the various fan makes and my first Yoda sculpt. The difference here is accurate measurements and some...

    My Cyberman Yoda- Progress

I have waited ages to get this and it was well worth it. I have decided to make this into a puppet as time allows with my work schedule and other commitments ahead of personal projects. The mouth is articulated and the skull is in but the project is on hold for a few so the Cantor-Nissel eyes...

Time's Arrow Data Head (image INTENSE)

No Im still working on my other versions...sadly they are collecting dust. My kids really want me to finish the electronic version...they like to watch it blink. :D Im getting to where I want to tweak the sculpt eventually and iron out some of the things I see wrong now. Maybe I should stop...

Well Ive already told you I really like the work you did on the sequence. I too wanted to make an acrylic stand like you have there. The head looks good overall, my only suggestion would be to work the hairline over a bit and soften the edges. What did you do for eyes? One other thing is I...
