Speaking of the lever, I love that the clamp comes with a circular hole for it in the bar instead of the usual rectangular one. This was me when I went to spin the lever to loosen it just out of habit and it worked instead of getting stuck
Sure you do! There's this one, for an accurate installed one; DaveP's, for one that is accurate to the construction of the prop; KRxOR's, for a cool AFBB take on it; there's the OR SSLk, for an installed one that's actually comfortable to duel with if that's your thing; Roman's Steel V2 of...
I've used a bleach and water solution before, in something like 4 or 5 parts water to 1 part bleach, and was pretty happy with the results. Let it soak for a bit, maybe a couple hours, then pull it out, use steel wool to take it back and even it out, and repeat until you're happy with the...
Which would totally make sense if it was one piece, when I did my AS V2 I did basically nothing to prevent overspray and got a bit of that towards the top of the grenade too
Without committing in either direction, I will say the idea that a thin-neck lightsaber that's seen some significant abuse broke at its weakest point is not exactly unbelievable to me
You know, it does actually make sense for the emitter to have been permanently bonded together at some point once the thing transitioned to being essentially just a spare stunt and didn't need to spin anymore
If the emitter is a lighter color, and it's not just lighting or whatever, my first guess would be that it's just worn paint from Alec Guinness's thumb, and not from any attempt to mimic the hero prop. I wouldn't think they'd go to that much effort for stunt props
