so i couldnt get it as smooth as i wouldve liked so i made a hard copy and sanded it and filled in low spots.
so its not too bad, but it still needs work. i also poured a rubber cast just to see how it fit

I was able to find time to see Prometheus.. (its hard getting out with a new born) and i totally loved the pistols, and i figured i would try my hand at it.

i searched the internet trying to find good dimensions and all i found were...
ive started working on the sides of the mask and the eye pieces. its not a perfect skull. the left eye is slanted down or in with a more prominent brow, and the cheeks are different. left side is more full.
well the thought to do it that way never crossed my mind. if i ever do this again ill try it that way. good advice. im not sure if that matters as much on the avengers as opposed to TFA because the Blue is "floating" in a sense and is connected in the back well as far as i can tell that is...
so i temporarily attached the elastic on the bottom with hot glue. i have to coat it with magikote and of coarse paint it. its hard to tell in the photo but the elastic is died red.
heres an update you can see the the changes i made, i cut the ridge detail on he gauntlets.. these aren't the gauntlets featured at the end of TFA they are the ones seen in the Avengers trailer..
