I'm sure I'll be working on this suit eventually. I've got plans to do an update to my Civil war suit first.
Gun Head Design recently posted their pattern for the new suit: http://www.gunheaddesign.com/black-panther-2018-pattern.html
also, Do3D has a file for the helmet...
Looks like Neo4Desing has the option to just get a muscle pattern. http://4neodesigns.com/product/muscle-base-female-v1/
Maybe check with them and see if they can color that the right shade of green and sell you that pattern

The one I'm wearing with this costume is actually just a modified Rubies Black Panther mask that I got from Ebay.
However, I do have a 3D printer on the way and plan to buy the helmet file from Do3D and print that.
I actually finished this!!
Check out my sisters cosplay Instagram for some more pics. @darthpool20bby.
We will also be wearing the Panther costumes to another con at the end of August, so we should have some more pictures then.
I already have some updates planned and I'd still like to do my...
So in the end, I never did get started on making a mask. I've got 10 pounds of unused Monster Clay still in the boxes it shipped in.
But, I am 99% done with this costume (FINALLY!)
The only thing left is adding some Velcro to the shirt to hold down the necklace.
Here are some updated pics...
I won't pretend I've never had this same question for myself. As a black dude it is sometime difficult to portray a character when you know the color of your skin will throw off the accuracy of the cosplay. Thus the reason why I created my own X-men character years ago. I didn't feel I could...
It's hard to say exactly how much I spent, since there was a lot of extra stuff bought, and some things I bought but haven't or will not use. Also some was used for my sisters costume.
Here is a general brake down.
Gloves ($13)
Boots ($40)
or These ($55)(they were not in my size, but I got...
Thanks, it's been a very long project for me, so I'm glad to see it all coming together.
Since I started this project before I had good reference pictures I would have designed a few things differently.
I think the biggest change I would make is in my fabric search. I had decided early on to...
Still here, still not done. It's getting down to the wire and I've got shoes and gloves and worbla to work with still.
Latest updates:
Put some not-screen-accurate lenses in the mask. Soda bottle, window tint, hot glue, duct tape. If need be I can swap it for some grey latter on.
One thing...
That is sooooo nice. If my turns out half as good as this I'll be happy.
2 Questions:
Are the vibranium parts on the glove there when you bought it, or was it something you added?
Also, what did you use for the eyes on the mask, and how well can you see out of it?
That's the same mask I've got. I already cut the mask from the neck area and I'm using the rest to test my layout. Once I work with the Worbla and see how easy or difficult it might be to shape, then I'll decide if I want to make the pieces or just cut the ones off of the mask.
If I had a 3d...
