    Roy's Rey's Quarterstaff

Yes, that would surprise me too if that part was indeed asymmetrical. I'm probably overthinking things a bit here. I just like that idea of purposely introducing asymmetry in a screen-used prop to make it harder to replicate!

    Roy's Rey's Quarterstaff

Great job with that quarterstaff! I have a fondness for this piece from the new trilogy, so it's nice to see one that is so well done. The paint and weathering jobs are especially nice! If one thing I wish you'd spent just a bit more time sanding the print lines. Even though I reckon they're...

    Sith trooper helmet 3D model

It's a nice looking 3d model but I think it could be improved in several areas. The spacing between the recessed lines at the back of the helmet doesn't appear very even. The teeth area is lacking details and doesn't assemble quite correctly. The black recessed line running around the jaw isn't...

Yes, this is a 3D model, but that I made myself so it's not available to download

Fettastic ESB EE-3 Found Parts Build (Finished)

I don't know if this is common knowledge by now, but I remember that few years ago when I assembled my EE-3 blaster I realized that for outmost accuracy the MPP has to be altered and two extra holes need to be drilled through it in order to match the reference pictures. The two 'mistery holes'...

    rexim-favor scope

Hey guys, sorry for the late answer. Lots of love for this fantastic blaster, it's great to see! That scope you used is very close to what can be seen on the reference pictures! They share lots of similarities for sure. Very nice! Did you use the 3D model from Tom Campbell? Because it's looking...

    rexim-favor scope

Yeah, its a custom blaster I made myself. The funny thing with this build is that the more time I spent building the Se14 the more interested I became into replicating the rexim favor. The rexim favor is such a rare weapon that I've never heard of anyone owning one, not even a decent replica of...

    rexim-favor scope

That scope is so vintage i remember having no luck finding anything like it. I ended up scratch building it like the rest of the rexim.

S2Jesse's Enfys Nest Full Scale Helmet Build Thread.

Stupendous! The amount of small organic details and texture you were able to bring in with zbrush is fantastic. I hope you won't lose all that work with the print

3d Printed F-11D First Order Stormtrooper Blaster Project

The 3D files are available on the FISD forum under the section "3D parts and technical". http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/ You will need an account to access them though.

Boba Fett and FO Snowtrooper helmets

Almost everyone is getting the stickers on the FO snowtrooper dome wrong. The stickers must be parallel with the eye line and because of the shape of the dome that means the back sticker must be curved to fit properly. https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4577/23983716557_58dc994dd3_o.jpg...

    Done / Completed please Delete

Re: QUADNOCULARS Episode 7 I don't remember reading that message. But I had a large backlog of PMs to answer on FISD, so it's possible yours got lost among the other. I'll have a look and give you an answer there.

    Done / Completed please Delete

Re: QUADNOCULARS Episode 7 Well this run won't happen. This guy is talking about recasting my original 3D model without any kind of permission from my part. So if an admin is reading this they can delete this thread. Source 3D files can be found here...

ROGUE ONE - Jyn Erso "Imperial Ground Crew" disguise

For the wand most of the structural strength will be given by the PVC pipe inside it so I guess 10% would be enough. About the "red bits", yes I would suggest just printing them in orange PLA (not red because then it looks like a lightsaber and you don't want that). And no, I didn't do the...

Finished Rebellion Ring from The Last Jedi.

Truth is I really don't trust myself when it comes to create things that must be symmetrical or perfectly even, etc... I have much more confidence in computers and machines for that, so for me a 3D model and then having the parts either printed or machined was compulsory. As for the finish what...
