Hi all, I'm about to embark upon a Boromir costume build but I seem to have a real problem and would appreciate some expert input. What colour is Boromir's leather surcoat? I always thought it was a very dark green, but when I saw Anduriel's superb thread he seemed to have opted for black...

You can pick-up a genuine Sterling SMG pistol grip for around £30.00. I've seen a few on ebay. There's this one on there now: E11 blaster pistol grip ,, Real vintage sterling smg grip | eBay I have a genuine one on by scratch-build. I can give you the dimensions if you want.

Done a great job. Is the pistol grip removable? I think it's the single biggest thing wrong with the Airsoft.

Last year I made a Hobo Luke costume. I thought I'd done a pretty good job of it too. Took ages researching, sourcing, hand-stitching, carving the walking stick, etc. I made it in the winter: thick, woolly jumper, leather coat, waxed canvass poncho, wool puttees - perfect for that time of year...

The coat was an ebay purchase from China for £57.00. It was nicely made - the lady stopped making them just after we bought this one back in December.
