It was about $350. The is spent about $120 on select red oak wood, I could have made it out of MDF but I wanted something that could take a beating. The light kit was $37 from Jupiter Electronics, Servos were $60, and the servo controller board was $55 from Hyperdyne Labs.

Ya I actually like the look of the new glove more than the original. My only gripe with the mask is that the eye holes are cut a little to big and you can see my skin underneath, unlike rpat's and DJ519's masks which have smaller eye holes which look better, great masks guys.

Re: R2D2 on a budget You could use a hard plastic ball and cut it in half. Usually toy stores like Toys R Us or even Walmart or Kmart have just a big bin of different size balls. If they don't have it try a craft store like Michaels or Hobby Lobby they usually have giant Styrofoam balls you...
