Hello. I know the original hemisphere are from Plastisruct and that are 6.3 mm in diameter. Does any one have a MR version? From all the images I have seen, I think the MR is off in a few places. See image. I and working on a build... thanks

you want the rounded holes. Some have an octagonal end cap. You could use a flat coin edge end cap from another Hieland, but you'll need a clamp and button assembly.

Could the original prop have been plated as apposed vac metalized? Chrome plating usually follows copper plating. Could the chrome have flaked off? It seems more chrome in the film shots.

Could the back piece have been the internal piece with the bulbous part shaved off?
