Yeah, while this still looks great, I was surprised by how much the design has changed from the movie version, particularly with the extra buttons, that was the original plan. Not to knock the considerable work Nick had put into this, but it took me a bit aback. Perhaps for copyright reasons...

I can't believe this thing. That watch face is pitch perfect!

One more thing, though it may be a moot point, but the edges in the still, particularly around the front seem worn or rounded off slightly. I can't tell from the photos of your prop if that's the same, but it feels like there's a more gentle taper than a harsh edge there.

I love the brushed aluminum/steel idea. As long as there was a clear enough difference in tone from the steel of the body and the face. Good observation. Also, omg look at this thing you guys.

This is absolutely gorgeous. And you've set it up to customize with a Bluetooth rig or what have you! I couldn't have dreamed this better. Even the squiggly numbers look great! PLEASE add me to the growing list of people committed to a run. It's beautiful work!

YES. This. It's not the general audience going out and seeing these things, again and again and buying everything just for completion. They're moving on to Avatar or the next big whatever. It's just us fans. It's the same thing in comics. "I hate what they're doing with Spider-man" or...

I was wondering about this myself. I've seen that video, and it really clashes with what he's doing now. It's been a while and I might be recalling it wrong, but does he say "directors" trying to alter their movies? Or does he say something like "people" altering movies, or more tellingly...
