    Alien / Nostromo Uniforms

Wow... and £120 for postage too! I can live with the two sage greens I have! (I keep hoping to make Kane's jacket but it's a slow work in progress.)

Reebok Stompers and other Aliens themed shoes

Boots received by my brother but no cert or stomping guide. The box was surprising large!

My Nostromo Crew Jackets (Pic Heavy)

Fantastic job. I've been slowly getting the parts I need to make this jacket as well. Can I ask where you got the webbing for the arm rails? Was it precut? The edges look very clean. Cheers.

    Star Wars Archives: 1977-1983

I live in Hong Kong, and ordered from Amazon UK @ £97.50 and standard delivery postage will be less than £8.50. Postage is the same for delivery to the US. on Amazon US @ US$180, postage is US$7 to UK, but the book itself is too expensive. US$180 = £139. Hope this helps.

USCSS Nostromo - High Resolution Photos

There's a lot to be said for CGI...good and bad. But when you look at physical models and the real sweat that goes into their creation, I stand in awe. This miniature(!) is one of my icons. Thanks for these pictures again. I've had the Halcyon model since it first came out and looking at these...

    A L I E N Narcissus

It was a normal showing only I'm afraid...and as a callow 17-year-old at the time (bravado got me past the box office for an 18 rating), had no access to special screenings. It was great though... a seminal film for me.

    A L I E N Narcissus

I can't corroborate this, but when I watched Alien at the Odeon Leicester Square in London in 1979, as the credits rolled and the special visual effects crew names came up, a loud series of cheers rang out from the circle audience. Must have been them and I'm sure they were pleased with their...

In-progress shots are always my favourite part of any thread. Especially for old-school physical models. Will be sad when you actually finish it, because you've done a man's job on this!
