How to NOT wash blood out of shirt?

From experience, fake blood (corn syrup, homemade, store bought, even expensive FX blood) tends to either wash out or fade of clothing. Especially on a white shirt, I'd imagine you'll be left with a pinkish mark rather than blood red. In the past, for permenant (hand) washable blood stained...

Dredd 2012 Brit Cit Sector 001 interest thread

Amazing work! I love the subtle changes to the helmet for the Brit Cit and the SJS looks amazing - just the right amount of influence from the books. You doing SJS badges too? I can imagine that's a bit of a challenge to bring up to date with the massive shoulder eagle name plate. I'm certainly...

    Helmet visor

I've used two Motorcycle visors in my two lids and to be honest, they look amazing front on - they're thick and heavy, with a nice sheen. However, due to the arc in the material, side on they leave a large gap on the helmet bridge and frankly, look rubbish. So, I'll be getting a thinner...

    Star Trek Into Darkness (Post-release)

Well, I've just got back from seeing it with the wife. Now, Star Trek II is my favourite Trek movie and holds a very dear place in my heart, despite best efforts I had heard of similarities between TWOK and into Darkness . I deliberately held out from reading anything about this pre-release...

Bondo in the UK - product question

That's the stuff you want, yes. I also find P40 (glass filler) useful for bridging gaps underneath the P38. It's much tougher than the P38 and doesn't sand as well, but still a useful tin to keep in the workshop. I have the following to hand for most tasks (and they're easy to get in the UK)...

I'm loving this design, It looks sleek and modern and completely functional (although it still has that amazing flair the Brit-Cit helms had in the progs). Even if I can't finish mine, I'm glad so many other people are making amazing Brit-Cit helmets :)
