Well, Mike has changed his latest ebay auction for the buckle . In the write up it now states that it is in fact a reproduction. So, in the very least this thread has pressured him enough to end the misleading auctions.

Hey all, We want to let you know that we are currently in the process of moving to a new studio. It is a much larger facility (2400 sq. ft) which will allow us to increase productivity. Also it will give us the space to start on some other projects we have penned on our calendar for this year...
