Hi all, I'm a little late to the discussion here, love the work! I remembered that I took some shots of the helmet at the Arclight theater in Pasadena. Sorry that I couldn't get closer, and I only had my cellphone to take these shots, but hope they're helpful in some degree:

Just a quick update, I've been buried in Star Wars sculpting jobs for a while keeping me from taking these Serenity sculpts to a finished state. I'm happy for the work, but there's been too much of it, staying up to the wee hours, etc. I do have a better set of pics I took some months ago but...

How do you price one of these out? Comparing buying one verse the materials to assemble to make your own from scratch? I would love to own one, but money is tight :unsure

Just a quick update, I haven't given up... I was busy with travel and Comic Con sculpting jobs. I'm still trying to contact Quantum MechaniX for production. If that venue doesn't work I'll try something else ;) -Matt

Sorry for the delay, here's the latest on River Tam: The little origami Serenity she's floating will be a problem to mold :) Next is a going over of all the sculpts to get a uniform finish on them, and then adding the stacks of cash. Almost done! -and thanks again for the kind comments...

No traction yet, Ive had a lot of family drama latley, so it's been on the back burner. The liscence holder for sculptures is currently Quantum Mechanix, and I can't seen to be able to get a hold of them yet. After everything settles down here for me, I plan on getting some answers. I'd like to...

I found these great production photos to help get Simon's proportions right, since the comic cover cuts him off above the knees :) still he has short legs: As for Kaylee, I started off here giving here the shoes from the movie Serenity: But I think I like the TV versions better...
