I haven't posted here in years and just lurk but I have to comment on this. In his initial post, Gary (Shai'tan)mentions there was a need for an accessible P1 cannon, which is why he and Gene decided to create one. I find it odd that Gene and Gary came to that conclusion without calling Carl...

Great video. Thanks to all again that put this all together. I would buy the video of Mat Winston's behind the scenes footage of all the different movies he must have. Was interesting to see the video from the stills we have all seen for the past 20 years.

Modeling putty should do the trick. The seams are pretty tight.

Carl's right, the Magics software works with triangles, and his 3D software doesn't build with them, so he had to translate the files afterward. Not that big a deal, but some of the components were downright stubborn and I had to spend some time refining them in the computer before sending them...

Don't get me all excited Carl! I'm not as young as I use to be when you started this!

Fantastic painting! To help dry out silicone molds after you soak in paint thinner you can put it in an oven at 180 deg. for a few hours. Any hotter you can hurt the mold.

Don't want to get Carl all nervous but heard from a little mouse that he was getting ready to put silicone all over it....Don't tell him I said this!
