If I were to get a Fett helmet from Hasbro, I would expect a cleaner, symmetrical version of the original sculpt, maintaining proportions as closely as possible. They really nailed that approach with the Stormtrooper and Poe helmet. If they can give me that good base for a repaint, I'm all in.

Also gotta give some love to Field Marshall's stuff. He sells modded Denix bases, along with excellent quality parts to build up every version that exists. I've got his ANH add-ons. If you want to go a little bit DIY with it, check out his ebay page or website. Can't go wrong with any option...

I'm going with this one. I have the injection-molded, VHB tape grips from Roman (12.75mm wide). I'm trimming the bottom of the tape off, and using the thickness of the VHB tape to offset for the thickness of the end cap a little bit. That way, in theory, I shouldn't get the curve in the grips...
