    Looking for foam tutorial/walkthrough

Looking through threads, I think the next type of build I'd like to tackle is foam armor. I've tried searching because I'm sure it's on here somewhere, but the tapatalk app search function doesn't seem very powerful. Does anyone have suggestions of members to look at, or links to tutorials of...

    Hold Shields of Skyrim

To cut the boards round, what have you done? I saw a video on YouTube using a circular saw attached to a pivot to scribe the circle, but it was a much larger radius. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Hold Shields of Skyrim

This is awesome, I happen to have a few lengths of fencing piled in the garage, I may have to take a crack at a Falkreath or Morthal Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    First Time Casting Trouble

Well, never mind, after allowing nearly 48 for the plaster to harden, I pulled the mold off to discover that the neck would not support the shape or weight. I'll be starting fresh tomorroe Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

    Zombie Makeup effects

Tons of tutorials around. Quick and dirty though? Get a bottle of latex and some makeup. (Test that you're not allergic first) Dab on a few layers of latex on, apply layer of makeup for overall skin tone, pull and tear holes in the latex skin and apply makeup to may the tears look like wounds...

    First Time Casting Trouble

For Halloween, I'm planning on creating a Grim Grinning Ghost display for the front yard and I thought I'd try my hand at casting the heads myself. But my plan isn't panning out as easy as I thought it would. My thought was: Create a mold of a head on a large box. Fill the mold with Great...

    Hook Portrait (My digital restoration)

Ha, finally a topic that my experience can help with. I work for a print shop, while we don't do a lot of art print quality large format work, we aim for 150-180 dpi for photo quality work. Our machine is very forgiving and it also depends on the media you print to. Canvas with heavy tooth is...

3d Printing a Mark VI Iron Man

Thanks, I've been trying to convince the other two guys (and the one who took the picture) to take on Hulk, Hawkeye, and Capt. America. Back in November, they were all for it. But that wore off quick. Maybe I'll be able to convince them again after seeing Avengers.

3d Printing a Mark VI Iron Man

Since the rest of my suit seems to be on a forced hiatus, I thought I'd share my helmet's public debut for the Avengers midnight showing. Anyone that asked, I just told them that I (Tony) was drunk when I got dressed and I put the wrong suit on.

3d Printing a Mark VI Iron Man

Well, it's been a few weeks with no activity. I've contacted the guys who printed the helmet pieces several times, but I haven't heard anything back. If I'm planning on finishing this in any reasonable amount of time, I might be switching over to foam OR if I want to stay dedicated to the 3D...

3d Printing a Mark VI Iron Man

Just to keep this thing going...I took a picture from inside the helmet because the first thing that everyone asked when I wear it is, "How can you see?" So I tried to get a decent shot of what my right eye sees. Obviously, it's not perfect, but it's a pretty good approximation and give the idea.

3d Printing a Mark VI Iron Man

If you take a look back though the thread, that will answer most of your questions. It's 3D printed, not fiberglass. The eyes do light and you can see through the opening below them. The faceplate does open and close, but it is not motorized. When open, it is held in place with magnets. And...
