    What rifle is this?

It's an old Eddystone reciever (M1927) with the finish stripped and some metal bolted onto it...weird.

ANH Hero DL-44 Discussion - Three ANH Greeblies Found

Re: ANH Hero DL-44 Barrel Discussion I'd be willing to do this but I'm not sure how. Would it be measured from the flat up, I don't have a micrometer available.

    Request - Movie Money

Kid , you can buy legal movie money on Ebay/Amazon/etc that is convincing just like they do in Hollywood, or make your own easy enough without any legal issues. Example 1 and more realistic Example 2 For more info see here.

ANH Hero DL-44 Discussion - Three ANH Greeblies Found

Re: ANH Hero DL-44 Barrel Discussion Kurt, does the replicas upper receiver draw back, or do you mean the little T lever (like in a M4 rifle) pulls back? Some replicas don't have the same feature as the original guns. In a real Mauser C96 you flip the safety to Fire and draw back the...

    reproducing movie coins

I do two sided coins all the time,as well as tokens, pilgrims badges, etc. I once carved a mold in an hour and a half and then poured 100 coins in the next 40 minutes right before an event. I'm in the SCA, so it's just a hobby but if you use a three piece mold (2 parts on the top with a third on...

    reproducing movie coins

When I make metal coins (I'm a medievalist) I use pewter. It's advantages are obvious beyond cost...they can be smelted and poured using a bullet ladle (small pot on a stick), using a standard propane tank and one tank will pour a few hundred coins or more. SOAPSTONE MOLD CASTING For molds, i'm...

    Folios

Silkscreen printing is how many t-shirts, signs and like larger media is printed. My friend, a fellow medieval reenactor built a small silkscreen unit for under 50$ to mass produce "painted" banners. You can print labels that can affix to folders and in many vintage cases will be more authentic.

    Folios

They used to here SECURITY FILE FOLDERS but I think they don't now. They just provide other stuff not the folders now. What are you trying to replicate? If you can't get a folder in a printer then you can try silkscreen.

1st Post - My Prop stuff

.....Now i'm imagining your lurking around the backwoods where your victims are playing paintball...only to become parts for props... Seriously inventive and original, and I'm not surprised by the shellac as you really use natural materials well and it melds seamlessly with the vintage...

Will We See Welling in the Costume: Yes or NO

I enjoyed the series finale but the last few years have been pretty weak. Often marked with inconsistent character development and tinges of political partisanship while ignoring past plot-lines. I still enjoyed the series, I just enjoyed the last few years about 40%. Now onto rumors... I've...
