In new canon I believe fetts still being digested, and the timeline of the show being after jedi kind of rules him out, and fetts not mandolorian so a show about a mandolorian wouldn't really work for fett. And fetts dead.

I'm not saying direct crossover like the other movies, but there could be some connectivity, like him telling a story that's referencing something from the movie.
