what is the best platinum silicone to use for making a mask? I live close to a Smooth-on dealer so i will be using smooth on products. was thinking Dragon skin fx pro or something along that Vein. Any help would be appreciated.... thanks!

ok Im almost embarrassed posting this here but.......i mad a mold for a mask, out of mold max 30 (smooth on)only because i a lot left over from a job......forgetting that MM 30 is a tin cure, and the silicones that I want to use to cast my mask in are all platinum cure ( tin cure inhibit...

Hello, everyone, here is my finished silicone mask….I may punch hair into the back and sides to add to the "creepiness"…I need to make an acrylic eye for the left side as well……. this was a fun project!

Great work Jonc! I wanted to ask u what type of silicone did u use to adhere the teeth in place? Im doing the same thing and I've tried different silicones but nothing seems to adhere resin teeth to the silicone mask. thanks!

I apologize ahead of time if this is a repeat question…..but does anyone know if rubber latex will release from a silicone mold (specifically Smooth On Rebound 25) ? I am making a mask but I also want to pull a resin hard copy to keep…...

New mutant mask sculpture in progress…...

Here is a 1:1 zombie Bust I am using as a table prop…..its sculpted in wed clay, molded in rebound 25 for the inner core and Plasti-paste for a hard jacket outer mold.
