Will there be a women’s version?

Thank you for working with those larger size orders. So many times I see fans wistfully admiring uniforms and other fandom related garments and stating that they cannot find something to fit themselves. For me the IDIC philosophy of Star Trek should include all sizes of beings.

I was going to say that they would need to be rather thin shoulder pads. I went back to the start of the thread and the Geordi photo shows a slight “bunching” at the shoulder because of how he is leaning. Too much padding would cause the entire should to raise in that position. That would it...

If you were going to wear it to a con with no intention of taking it off, you could add shoulder pads to whatever shirt you wore under it. The look would be the same.

There’s a guy in the Star Trek Costume Group on Facebook that received his gold one from ELS 2 days ago and posted comparisons of it and 2 others he bought from other companies and he did side by side photos and descriptions.

Someone was showing off pics of his Ops jacket that arrived in a FB group and it sparked a question: Are all the men’s cut jackets being done first with the women’s versions still to be finalized?

I’m nervous only because my experience has been that getting the curves in the right places is a bit trickier. I remember adding a comment to clarify where one measurement fell in relationship to another measurement—because I’m rather short.

Any guesses as to how long until the gold and blue start production? Meanwhile I will live vicariously through the people receiving their burgundy jackets.
