I'm not to excited about just seeing the outside of houses or buildings used in movies. I'd like to the iconic stuff, like a BTFF Deloreon, or Marvel Universe props, or LOTR/Star Wars/Harry Potter type stuff. The kind of things that everyone recognizes.

I'm headed to southern California for vacation in a couple of months and I'd like to see some movie sets and props. Is there any place that I should make sure that I go? I was planning on probably hitting the Universal Studios Tour, and maybe Warner or Paramount if they are worth going to...

the ones that HGH are selling on ebay have the electronics but the battery wires are just clipped. 30 minute fix, but awesome scratch build anyway.

My wife and I are talking a road trip to New York City from Indiana, and I'm curious if you guys are aware of any good places to see some movie props, movie memorabilia shops, or other movie related activities in NYC or between Indiana and NYC?

Re: Motorized Iron Man Helmet Thread #1000 I've made some progress. Over the curse of my priming and sanding I managed to drop my faceplate on the concrete floor and as you can imagine I didn't end well. I used epoxy to patch all of the missing pieces, but it's not quite as good as new...

So I just painted my iron man helmet with duplicolor dark cherry matallic. I did all the prep, three coats of primer, and sanding between each. But the duplicolor finish is horrid. I was expecting a glossy finish, but this is uneven and nearly matte most places. I've never had this kind of...
