    Wristblade Mechanism Finally Soved?

If there's one thing we've all wanted as hunters, it's a truely functional wristblade. I've seen a lot of great ideas, and decided to look into something of my own. I am one who wants to avoid using any kind of batteries or anything which may be inconvinent at a later date, but the question...

    Clay Matthews just got cooler

So after reviewing this, it just so happens that there are 2 commercials featuring Clay, and both feature his predator sack pose. The first one is rather obvious, but the second one is visible at about 10 - 11 seconds in... I wonder how much more effective it would be if his yell were replaced...

My First Budget Build, About To Be Majorly Overhauled.

So I've been lurking in the shadows, emerging only when absolutely needed. Some of you may recall my daughter's suit which I submitted about a year or so ago. I also mentioned that I had been working on mine, but given time constraints, and a very very low budget, I was pressed for materials...

    The Predator Clicking Sound

I have found that some people just are not able to do it. I tell them to try to snore, through their mouth only.... though when they try, it sounds like someone choking on a piece of chicken. For me it's second nature, to the point where if I'm agitated or slightly angry, I find myself doing...

    My little girl's first hunt

Thank you to everyone for the compliments; they help me realize that all of the hard work paid off and motivate me to finish my own suit by Saturday. She will not be without warm clothing so no worries there. Her school had a strict no weapons policy, so yes I had to keep it orange for that...

    My little girl's first hunt

I was in the process of building a budget suit for myself, and decided to make my daughter a suit. I realize I have a long way to go to achieve the greatness of a lot of the members of here who have done some jaw dropping work, but I figure we all have to start somewhere. So with that I give...

    Clay Matthews just got cooler

Looks like they're letting Clay play tonight, so the once injured hunter is going to find his ultimate trophy.... hope he adds grandpappy Favre to his trophy wall...LET'S GO PACK!

    Clay Matthews just got cooler

My hope now is seeing him do the pred pose over Favre, and it will justify the second loss in a row. And I am really trying to find a way to contact him, but am having no luck, and can't pull up anything on FB. Gotta think of some new ideas I reckon, and hope for the best.

    Clay Matthews just got cooler

If I could get into contact with him and made him a suit, I wonder if he would get me season tickets?....lol For the record, I am doing some research, and I am looking for ways that I may be able to get into contact with him.

    Clay Matthews just got cooler

I have a few loves in life, one being predator (obviously or I would not be a member of the Lair), and football (more specifically the Packers, being a Wisconsin native myself). Watching this season has been interesting, but something in particular drew my attention and made me squeal like a...

The first of many things to come

It's general scope of usage is...uh... any way possible? In all reality I saw it as an all purpose sword, useful in the hack and slash "oh hell there goes my leg" fashion, but also did think of it's sheer stabbing power. I have a few other things done, and I'm posting them soon enough...but I...

The first of many things to come

a sad update.... my 4 year old daughter was enthusiastic about my sword... a little too enthusiastic... it now sits in three parts... so either I have to scrap it, or use a lot of elbow grease and hot glue.... We'll see what happens....

The first of many things to come

The material is 1/2" mdf, which was cut and sanded with a dremmel ( sadly i burned through 1 dremmel in the process, but it gave me a great reason to go to Home Depot with the wife's approval). I painted it with hammnered metal effect paint, and used a leather looking fabric I got at hobby...

The first of many things to come

Hey all! I have been lurking in the shadows for some time, and have valiantly working on my first suit. After about the 1500th "what in the world was I thinking?" I decided to take a break from the monotony in armorcrafting. I started thinking about what I could do to give a slight unique...
