My 12 year old daughter and I have been painting some bag sets. She's doing really well with silhouettes and seems to enjoy painting with dad. These were based on some existing silhouette art we found online..but I added eyes to the joker and lots of other changes to spice it up. Batman's head...

My daughter and I have been painting some superhero bag sets. She's 12 and has been getting really good with the silhouettes! These were partially based on some existing art we found online (cap especially). The splatter background was a blast to do!

There's something about personal gifts like this that I really enjoy creating. Knowing it's not available in stores just makes it that much more fun.

It's about 14" x 24" long. Carved pvc...then painted.

I like the gaffer's tape on the top edge of the beveled mirror....you can see where the tape overlaps edges. Must have been reflecting lights or the ceiling of the stage...cool.

Re: Another Case of the Clap....trap JD, that's totally correct. Once I know it's carved alright, I can then carve in a totally different material. I'd prefer a sheet of HDU...at 2" thick, it's about $200 - 300 depending on density. Some nights I dream of having a stack of HDU 10 feet high.
