The thing about credit card props...

I think I may just begin threatening. I feel weird about it, because for all I know, some of these guys could be honest people with honest questions. But it happens on average once a DAY!

The thing about credit card props...

Guess it's a good thing we don't partake in that sort of thing...I'd hate to be the guy who's considered a narc, but I'm not about to risk my business and personal life for something stupid like that!

The thing about credit card props...

Thanks Nick! I like the idea of the phone number leading to police. I still cannot believe the blatant attempts for obtain these things. You're absolutely right in the sense that it seems that someone who actually knows what they're doing in these regards would have better sense than to...

The thing about credit card props...

Hi all, I just want to point out for anyone (read: not a member of these forums) out there watching that credit card props, namely the ones we make, are just that: Props. The props we make use design techniques to make them look real and good on film. Up close and personal they are...

We have all of them. And more! Unfortunately, most of the older stuff we stock is temporarily in storage (we moved offices.) And I just began prepping a show out of town. So it could be months before I can get those out. Sorry if this post was completely useless!

    Doctor Who - Letter

an ALPS printer will do it. I've done several light print on dark paper type things with my MD5000. unfortunately they're not made anymore (nor are they supported.) But there are plenty of cartridges out there. I'm thinking either white, or metallic silver for this particular project...

Certainly not trying to fight here. My point in the original post was more along the lines that the notes being sold by Premiere Props are modified copies of very common notes used in the industry. I'm sure the modifications were done by the art department on the film in order to save money...

They do not make any props. They are a warehouse company that buys used props from the studios. If they produced the notes used in The Punisher, they obtained the design from a prop maker.

Not likely. There was probably a hero note for close ups (i'm sure more than one.) And the rest were done the other way.

We make these for motion picture use only. We only sell them to local 44 prop masters. Up close there isn't a single detail that matches a real bill. There is no reference to the US anywhere on the note (we don't even use the word dollar,) nor are any images of presidents of political figures...

Thanks Mark, As with all of our notes, I try to make them as realistic as possible while still keeping them completely different from a real note (if that makes sense.) They are a completely from scratch mimic of the real thing.

Here's a small batch of our first test run of our new style 100... I don't think this style note has even been released from the mint yet, so there's not much need to do a large run yet. ( This test run was only about 5000 notes.)
