Well just checked Roddenberry.com's website and the tricorder is "Currently Unavailable" in other words, Stock This item is currently not in stock! They sold out. Now for those of you who bought one and didn't put it on EBay, let's watch to see if the price increases in value.

Vidman, post what? A video of me unboxing a prop and then we get to the tricorder I open it, works fine and then when I close it, it doesn't shut up and keeps running. The video ends with me fiddling with the batteries and a pissed off Look on My Face?

Jimin St Louis, No I have not posted anything on like at this time. But Appollo is right. I checked the prop this morning and it seems as the magnet that is to switch off the unit (reed switch) is either miss aligned or the magnet is not strong enough to turn off the unit

I just checked my email this morning, Roddenberry.com just shipped my tricorder!!!!!! I can't wait. As far as the ratchet sounds (opening and closing) we shall see. Hummm maybe an unboxing video is in the works....? Maybe.
